Yes, it''s Birthdays Board, my husband and I make it.

One of our resolution for new year is to make bonding with our big family.

So, with this BB, we will remember all the family member's birthday and we all will gather and celebrate their birthdays. Or we will just sent birthday cards for them who are out of town.

Hati harus dijaga karena dia yang mengendalikan hidup kita.

Carnival

Sunday afternoon in front of my house

Ayu: Sewing Project

This is the project I did on July for Tony and Kalyn. They are running the scarf business to help young Indonesian mother so that they can work (made the scarf by themselves) from home and help the family to increase their income. My husband and I designed the logo, business card, paper packaging and the label for the scarf ( the image of the label will be shown later :) ) And the mug next to the business card is a gift from us to them. They are so generous, sincere and humble, my husband and I try to appreciate their willing to help each other by making this mug (yes, we adore them). The strange word on the mug is Javanese words and the meaning is do work hard without self interest to enhance the well being of the world. It's a big one though . .

A good friend of my husband gave it to him in this afternoon. What a special egg, it's twin. We boiled it to make sure, and yes  it has 2 yolks!

This is the beginning of new month, new hope, new life or new .... I do have little thing on my desk (sometimes above my computer or my book shelf ) which is very empower me when I read it. It's a quotes calender that makes me awake from a lazy empty day. By the way, that's a souvenir we've got from a wedding long time a go. What a wise and clever choice from the bride and the groom to make someone's life better hehe ...

FoR FoOd

Hi everyone!

This is another business card I designed on January. Another best friend asked me to make a business card for her catering. It was such an honor hehe..

As you can see, smile from the chef . I found it's funny to give different "touch" on the card by cutting the edge randomly, look  like someone giving a bite. The aim was giving the impression that even the business card itself is so delicious, then how's the food. I tasted before and the food is truly yummy ^_^

gift-LITTLE SHOES

It's a happy day, my husband gave me a gift, sewing machine !! ^_^

So, excited and happy !! It's a small electric sewing machine so that I can bring it everywhere. I'm quite satisfied with it. I'm glad to have it, I've been waiting to have this machine since I was learning to sew. When this machine came, my table is always mess. And this is my first project

BABY SHOES

It's so cute, so little. I use ready material at home. I don't really prepared to do this before. By finishing this project, I want to do the other project, especially the baby product. I'm in love with my first project. Technically, I still have to learn a lot to make a perfect result. I wish my husband and I will have the "little one" to wear this ^_^

 It was in the middle of the night, we decided to hang out to a very cold place, BATU.

We had a snack before step our foot in the Alun alun. There were crowd of people and I guess there will always crowd there because it is a nice place. It's clean, neat and beautiful. In the night this place would be chosen by couples coz it's so cozy. It so romantic. But then don't forget to bring your jacket. 

My husband is standing beside big apple, the symbol of Batu.

Another project from our friend, name SEGER ( in English means FRESH). It's truly a sincere name LOL .. Anyway, he's always fresh, hehe...

His father is owning a sea food depot in Blitar. Their food is the popular one. Seger said the dominant color in his depot is green, so he want the menu in green too. I combined it real picture of sea food, they look delicious and so tempting 

My personal experience as a creator while doing this project I found it's so challenging. It wast about the difficulty of making the design but it's  merely about time management. At the same time I also had to design business card. But I live my life, I learn a lot after all hehe..

Seger's family invited us to their house in Blitar, to sleep over, and to taste the secret ingredients. My husband works in UNISBA, private university there once a week, so . We plan to come when he's on his duty.

Can't wait to share the experiments in Blitar soon. I'll make many pictures hehe..

finally ...

I got friends who need business card, so they trust me to do the brand and the design. They are running their own business and I intent to help them as I'm running my own design business (hehe..). I knew them for long time and I"m envy to their wonderful niche (just kidding ..^_^). They are excellent dress maker, no wonder they have bunch of work (every time I wanna ask them to hang out, they will say "Sorry, we've got to do something"). But that's okay, as a good friend I can understand it.

So, this is the work I've done for them. They asked me to print it on jasmine paper (so feminine and sparkling). They liked the text in dark brown coz the paper color is nude. I think that's a smart choice. The outline of wedding dress I can call it a representative of their capability and their identity. On the other side, a big brand of IDA and LILA (owner and also sisters) which is their symbol. As you can see, chains are become part of their symbol, it means that they will always work together, as a sibling and co-worker. For all, this business card looks neat, simple and clean.

I'm happy to work with them, till the next project !
